Jaguars cornerback Jalen Ramsey consistently called himself the best prospect in this year's draft, and he seems even more confident heading into Sunday's clash against the Packers.

Ramsey, who was selected No. 5 overall, is a cornerback/safety tweener who plans on playing corner in the NFL. Many believe Aaron Rodgers will try to pick on the rookie in Week 1. Ramsey hopes he does.

"I'm not scared," Ramsey said, via ESPN.com. "Throw my way if you want to."

The Jaguars were impressed with Ramsey during the preseason and feel he's ready for whatever challenges come his way.

"Jalen is a good player for us and has done some good things from what we have seen thus far," Jaguars coach Gus Bradley said. "He just needs to carry it over into the regular season, a heightened environment.

"He is a good football player. Jalen, I know, will stand up to the competition."

Ramsey will have a tough test to begin his NFL career. Rodgers is widely regarded as the league's best quarterback and Green Bay will have Jordy Nelson back after missing last season with a torn ACL.

"I've been preparing like I would prepare for anyone else," Ramsey said. "We'll see on Sunday. Like I said, they're a really good team. We know that. Everybody knows that, so hopefully it'll be a good game and we can go out there and do well."
