The Jaguars reportedly interviewed former Bills head coach Doug Marrone on Wednesday to fill their offensive coordinator opening.

According to Ryan O’Halloran of the Florida Times-Union, Marrone was seen at Everbank Field in Jacksonville.

Marrone previously interviewed for head coaching jobs with the Jets, Falcons, and Bears, though the Jets position was recently filled by former Cardinals defensive coordinator Todd Bowles

If selected, Marrone would replace Jedd Fisch, who was fired on Dec. 30. The Jaguars are also considering Vikings running backs coach Kirby Wilson, Dallas offensive line coach Bill Callahan, Jets running backs coach Anthony Lynn, and Oakland offensive coordinator Greg Olson as candidates for the job.

Marrone can, however, afford to take a year off because he earned $4 million from the Bills when he surprisingly opted out of his contract on Dec. 31.

Marrone was 15-17 in his two-year tenure with the Bills. The Bills were 9-7 in 2014, good for second place in the AFC East but two wins out of playoff contention. It was Buffalo's first winning season in 10 years.

Marrone previously served as offensive coordinator with the Jets from 2002-2005 and the Saints from 2006-2008. He then left the Saints to become the head coach at Syracuse, where he went 25-25 from 2009 to 2012.
