The Packers know they will be facing a stout defense in the Giants, but they didn't seem fazed by the Giants' "NYPD" nickname.

New York's secondary began calling itself the "New York Pass Defense," or "NYPD," which frankly has the Packers chuckling.

"Well we're in Wisconsin, so we don't have to worry about that," Green Bay receiver Davante Adams said, via ESPN.com.

Receiver Geronimo Allison heard of the nickname for the first time on Thursday, but also didn't seem to give the moniker much thought.

"If that's what they call themselves, that's what they call themselves," Allison said. "There probably won't be too many handcuffs being passed out this Sunday."

Allison added: "We're going to be prepared for them. Whatever they throw at us, we'll be prepared for it. We're going to attack them at their weak points and we're going to execute our game plan. We're really not concerned about what they're going to do to stop us. We're going to execute our job and do it to the best of our ability."

For the record, the Giants are 23rd in the league in passing defense, but the secondary does rank second in scoring defense.

The teams will face off Sunday in an NFC wild-card game.
