Rams fans of a certain vintage might have some bad flashbacks after they see this news: Angel Stadium is housing pro football again.

Don't worry, SoCal's NFC team isn't fleeing south a second time; rather, the Eagles — the hometown team of Angels superstar Mike Trout — will be training in Anaheim this week as they prepare for the second of back-to-back West Coast games. The Birds will play the Rams on Sunday at the LA Coliseum in a matchup of division leaders.

Gotta say, the field looks nice:

The Rams played 15 seasons in the Big A (1980-94) after leaving the Coliseum, then moved to St. Louis for the '95 season after five consecutive losing years and waning fan interest. In Year 2 of their return to LA, the Rams are 9-3 and on top in the NFC West.

And, no, Trout will not be playing safety/linebacker for the Iggles this weekend.
