Its Week 1 of the NFL season, so it's understandable to expect a few mishaps in the early goings. It's just, we didn't expect the mishap to come from the referees.

The officials couldn't agree on whether Caleb Sturgis' first field goal attempt of the day, a 46-yarder, was good. The official on the right had a better vantage point to see the ball was indeed wide right.
Unfortunately, the other official didn't have the same perspective, and incorrectly called the field goal try good. An understandable mistake.
Sturgis hit his next field goal, good from 22 yards out, to put the Eagles up 10-0.
