Falcons star wide receiver Drake London was evaluated for a concussion in Atlanta's "Thursday Night Football" game against the Buccaneers.
London nearly hauled in a pass over the middle as he got sandwiched by two Tampa Bay players in the second quarter, but the contract bowed the crown of his head as he made direct helmet-to-helmet contact and hit the turf.
London was immediately removed from the game and went into the medical tent.

Drake London injury update
London returned to Thursday's game in the second quarter after being evaluated for a concussion.

London stayed on the ground for a minute before adjusting his helmet once he got to his feet.

London immediately went to the sidelines and into the medical tent. Falcons quarterback Kirk Cousins threw a dime of a touchdown pass to Darnell Mooney a few plays later, so London did not return on the drive he was injured.
Moments after the touchdown, the broadcast showed London having a conversation with Atlanta's team doctor. He appeared to be trying to convince the doctor that he was okay to return to the game. Instead, he was sent jogging to the locker room for further tests.
The Buccaneers answered with a scoring drive of their own, then London got back out there for Atalnta's next possession.
