Donald Trump continued to make comments on the protests going on in the NFL during a fundraising event Tuesday night. According to the New York Times, "For a cool quarter-million dollars per couple, wealthy Republican donors participated in a 'private round-table' with" Trump.
Reporter Kenneth P. Vogel attended the event, and he says Trump brought up Kaepernick and the protest discussion.
TRUMP, at fundraiser tonight, ripped Roger Goodell for mishandling anthem protests, said he should have suspended @kaepernick7 for 2 games.

Vogel also reports Trump said "everybody" agrees with his objections to NFL player kneeling during the anthem, and that his viewpoints have “caught on.”
In addition to speaking at fundraisers, Trump has continued sending his message through his Twitter account. On Tuesday morning he tweeted the NFL should make it a rule where players are forced to stand for the anthem.
The NFL has all sorts of rules and regulations. The only way out for them is to set a rule that you can't kneel during our National Anthem!

Later in the day, he sent a tweet praising Jamaica's Usain Bolt because he, "showed RESPECT for our National Anthem!"
On Wednesday morning, he continued to discuss NFL athletes, specifically the Cowboys. Team owner Jerry Jones and his players took a knee before the anthem during their game Monday night, and Trump says he spoke with the owner about it.
Spoke to Jerry Jones of the Dallas Cowboys yesterday. Jerry is a winner who knows how to get things done. Players will stand for Country!
