While Tom Brady and others are dodging Deflategate, legendary coach Don Shula is bringing it up all on his own.

Serving as a guest of honor at the Miami Dolphins' 50th season celebration, Shula reminded the crowd he became the winningest coach in NFL history without gaining any illegal advantages.

"Our record in those 50 years was always done with a lot of class, a lot of dignity, a lot of doing it the right way," Shula said in his speech, via ESPN.com. "We didn't deflate any balls."

Shula, coach of the undefeated 1972 Dolphins, leads a group that isn’t shy about its success. Every year the team gets together to celebrate once every team in the NFL suffers a loss. The Patriots gave the team its biggest scare in 2007 when they went 18-1 with their only loss coming in the Super Bowl to the New York Giants.

This isn’t the first time the 85-year-old Hall of Famer has taken a jab at the Patriots. Earlier this year he referred to Patriots coach Bill Belichick as “Beli-cheat.”

Despite his brass against the Patriots and Deflategate during his speech Saturday, Shula shied away from making any further comments after the celebration.

"I coached for 33 years and I've never once in that 33-year period of time ever even talked or heard anyone talk about the air in the football," Shula told reporters when asked to elaborate on his comments. "So I'm not going to start talking about the air in the football."
