Texans safety D.J. Swearinger might be getting traded. Or released. Or quitting football. It's hard to tell.

The 2013 second-round draft pick posted a cryptic message on Instagram early morning Monday. His tone seems to suggest he's leaving the team, but it he doesn't specify how.

There have been no reports of Swearinger being traded or released. It's possible the Texans told him privately that his name was on the trading block so he figured he'd announce it to the world before a deal got done.

If Swearinger is indeed on his way out that would make six players out of nine that Houston drafted in 2013 who were gone within two seasons.

Swearinger isn't a superstar, but he's been a solid player for the Texans since joining the team. He's played in all 32 games in his first two seasons in the league. Last year he finished with 73 tackles, two interceptions, three forced fumbles, six passes deflected and one sack.
