Dez Bryant has expressed his desire to play football again, and he has proof he physically can after suffering a torn Achilles.

The former Cowboys and Saints wide receiver shared a video of himself Monday running routes on Instagram, proudly showing off the progress he's made since being injured in November.

"First time running in a long time... Building confidence," Bryant captioned the video.

Bryant, 30, was selected by the Cowboys with the No. 24 overall pick of the 2010 NFL Draft and remained in Dallas until he was released in April 2018. He then signed with the Saints, but suffered the injury in practice two days later.

He had 69 catches for 838 yards and six scores in 2017, his last full season. He averaged 12.1 yards per reception that year, which was a career low.

Bryant had 531 catches for 7,459 yards and 73 touchdowns during his time with the Cowboys. The three-time Pro Bowl selection also led the NFL with 16 receiving touchdowns in 2014, though he hasn't had a 1,000-yard season since then.
