Dez Bryant injury update: Cowboys WR ruled out for Packers game image

UPDATE: Dez Bryant was ruled out for Sunday's game against the Packers.

The Cowboys still don't know whether their passing game will have Dez Bryant at its disposal Sunday in Green Bay. The wide receiver, of course, would play if he had it his way.

But he doesn't.

FANTASY: Week 6 injury updates | Start or sit

Bryant will be a game-time decision against the Packers after being limited in practice all week. He told NFL Network's Jane Slater his knee feels good enough to play, but he won't find out whether he'll be active until he arrives at Lambeau Field.

Bryant suffered a slight hairline fracture in his knee against the Bears in Week 3 and hasn't played since. Cowboys rookie quarterback Dak Prescott didn't exactly miss Bryant in wins over the 49ers and Bengals without the star wideout, posting passer ratings of 114.7 and 117.9, respectively.

The Cowboys, 4-1 and sitting atop the NFC East, certainly won't mind the return of one of the NFL's most talented receivers. Sunday in Green Bay, against another team expected to compete for the NFC title in 2016, would be a good time.

Fantasy-wise, even if Bryant does play, he likely will be limited. That makes Bryant a risky play, and it makes fellow Dallas receiver Cole Beasley, who is responsible for 119 receiving yards and a touchdown over the last two games, a good play against the Packers.
