The Cowboys are denying claims wide receiver Cole Beasley made about the team's front office.
Dallas executive vice president Stephen Jones denied Beasley's comments earlier this week that implied the Cowboys' front office meddles in playcalling decisions. Beasley wrote Tuesday on Twitter, in part, "The front office pushes who they want to get the ball to."
Jones said Thursday on "The Rich Eisen Show" that's "certainly not at all the case" and he hopes Beasley's comments are just out of frustration.

"We don't get involved in that. The only thing we ever do is decide if we're going to pay players a lot of money," Jones explained Wednesday. "Or if we're going to trade for players and give up big picks. We certainly hope that they would be involved if we're going to do things like that.
"But we would never dictate where balls go or things of that nature, in terms of the game plan and getting involved with what our coaching does to get ready to play the ballgame. And certainly of all people, Cole is always involved in getting balls and getting catches. He's been just an integral part of what we're about. Certainly, he's made a lot of big catches and key catches in games that we've won."
Beasley appeared to backtrack his comments Wednesday as he said he didn't intend to criticize the Cowboys, but rather he believes every professional team's game plan is dictated by the front office.
"EVERY team's game plan in pro sports is dictated by the front office," Beasley wrote Wednesday on Twitter. "Big free-agent additions, high draft picks, etc. are going to get the most (opportunities). And I'm not mad at that!"
Beasley tallied 65 catches for 672 yards and three touchdowns in 16 games in 2018.
The Cowboys finished 2018 with a 10-6 record and advanced to the NFC divisional round, where they fell to the Rams.
