With Dak Prescott's 6-yard rushing touchdown in the third quarter against the Redskins, he joined Qunicy Carter as the only Cowboys rookie quarterbacks to have a rush TD since the AFL-NFL merger in 1970.

Carter accomplished that in a win over the 49ers on December 30, 2001. The Georgia product would go on to play just four seasons in the NFL, and compiled only two more rush TDs the rest of his career.

The only other Dallas rookie QB to run it in for a score was Hall of Famer Roger Staubach, who did in his first career game on September 21,1969. Staubach didn't have a second rush TD that season, but did finish his career with 24, along with two rings and six Pro Bowl selections.

If you're scoring at home, another rush TD would give Prescott the franchise's rookie record.

Here's to hoping Prescott's career legacy falls somewhere in between Carter and Staubach.
