Cowboys-Ravens stats that pop: history on the line in Dallas image

Today in weird NFL stats: The Cowboys have never won a game against the Ravens ... which, of course, means nothing for Sunday's matchup in Dallas.

That's because Baltimore has never played against the ridiculous rookie combo of Dak Prescott and Ezekiel Elliott, now officially clear of Tony Romo drama in the short term.

Joe Flacco, on the other hand, has played well against the Cowboys — he has a 102.0 rating in his past two meetings with Dallas. One of his favorite targets, Steve Smith, needs three catches to reach 1,000 for his career.

Here are the rest of the stats that pop ahead of Sunday's game.

Baltimore: 4-0 all-time against Dallas; only current NFL team Baltimore has never lost to

Dallas: Has at least three wins against every current NFL franchise other than Baltimore

Dallas defense: 48 penalties and 353 penalty yards are best in NFL; 82.6 opponent rushing yards per game is third best

Baltimore defense: 3.3 opponent rushing yards per carry and 71.3 opponent rushing yards per game are best in NFL

Elliott: 1,005 rushing yards; third player ever with 1,000 yards through first nine games (Eric Dickerson and Adrian Peterson)

Elliott: On pace for 1,787 rushing yards, which would be second most ever for rookie (Dickerson 1,808)

Prescott: 106.2 passer rating is second best through a player’s first nine games since 1950 (Kurt Warner, 119.1)

Prescott: Only full-time rookie QB in NFL history to lead his team to an 8-1 start

Dez Bryant: Has alternated 100-yard games with games of 40 yards or below — 22 receiving yards per game in games 1,3,5; 110 yards per game in games 2,4,6

Flacco: TD percentage (2.4) and yards per completion (10.0) would both be worst of his career; 78.3 passer rating
