Indianapolis Colts head coach Frank Reich said it is far too early to determine whether quarterback Jacoby Brissett will face the Miami Dolphins following his medial collateral ligament injury.
Colts QB Brissett suffered an MCL sprain in Sunday's 26-24 NFL defeat against the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 9.
Brissett went down early in the second quarter after Quenton Nelson stepped on his left ankle before the Colts guard appeared to fall on his team-mate's left leg.
An MRI on Monday indicated no major damage and the Colts (5-3) will wait until Wednesday's practice to gain a better insight into whether Brissett will be able to play against the Dolphins on Sunday.

"We're just going to have to wait until Wednesday to see how it feels," Reich said. "I mean, it's one thing to come in today after the injury and feel a little [better].
"I think in his mind he felt a little bit better than he expected to feel today, but that's still a far cry from being able to play the game.
"He's optimistic, but you have to wait until Wednesday, 48 hours to see how it responds to see if you can even start thinking about practicing and wrapping your mind around playing Sunday."
Reich added: "We'll be optimistic, but we're going to see how it has to go during the week."
