Colts' D'Qwell Jackson arrested for punching pizza delivery worker, report says image

Colts linebacker D'Qwell Jackson was arrested Tuesday night in Washington, D.C., after punching a pizza delivery worker twice in the head in an argument over a parking spot, according to WJLA-TV

Jackson was issued a citation for assault, while the victim was treated by ambulance on the scene. He did not have to go to the hospital.

The worker told Jackson that he would use the spot momentarily, but the linebacker "got upset and told the driver to get the 'expletive' out of his parking space before punching the driver in his face and on the back of his head," according to the report.

A Colts spokesman told WJLA that the team was aware of the incident but had no further comment.

Jackson caught the interception thrown by Tom Brady in the AFC Championship Game against the Patriots that instigated the Deflate-gate saga.

Jackson, 31, attended the nearby University of Maryland. He signed with the Colts in 2014 on a four-year, $22 million contract with $11 million guaranteed. He will be subject to punishment under the NFL's personal conduct policy.
