Browns reportedly will sign wide receiver Brian Hartline image

Brian Hartline is heading home to the Buckeye State.

The wide receiver has agreed to terms on a two-year, $6 million deal with the Browns, according to ESPN. Hartline, a native of Canton, Ohio, starred at Ohio State from 2006-08. The 28-year-old spent the first six years of his NFL career with the Dolphins before he was released Feb. 27.

Hartline will help fill the gap in Cleveland's receving corps caused by the NFL's season-long suspension of Josh Gordon for 2015.

Hartline averaged 75 catches and 1,050 yards per season in 2012 and 2013, although he slumped to 39 catches for 474 yards and two touchdowns last year.
