Veteran defensive end Chris Canty might be ready to call it a career.
Canty, 32, saw his season end Saturday night in the Ravens’ 35-31 loss at New England. The The Baltimore Sun reported Sunday that Canty said “he'll make a decision on whether he wants to play,” and that he is seriously contemplating retirement.
Canty, a fourth-round pick of the Cowboys in 2005, played four seasons in Dallas before joining the Giants for four seasons. In two years with the Ravens, he has 35 solo tackles, 30 assists and 2.5 sacks.
