If their slow start to the season wasn't enough, the Bears now have more bad news.

Bears running back Jeremy Langford will miss some time because of a sprained ankle, Bears coach John Fox said Monday. While Fox wouldn't specify how long Langford would be out, ESPN reported he would miss 4 to 6 weeks.

The second-year running back from Michigan State rushed for 116 yards and two touchdowns in three games before being carted off the field during the third quarter of Chicago's 31-17 loss to the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday night.

Rookie Jordan Howard will likely see a majority of the snaps at running back with Langford out and Ka'Deem Carey still recovering from a hamstring injury.
