KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Chiefs running back Charcandrick West may draw an NFL fine, but it will be money well spent to honor a late ex-teammate.

West paid homage to former Chiefs running back Joe McKnight after scoring on a 3-yard touchdown run during Thursday night’s home game against Oakland. West lifted his jersey and pointed to a written message on a white undershirt dedicated to McKnight, who was killed Dec. 1 in an apparent road-rage incident in Terrytown, La.
