Cary Williams will reportedly be joining the "Legion of Boom" after choosing to play for the Seahawks, The Baltimore Sun reported Monday.

The Eagles released Williams last week, and the 30-year-old defensive back has since talked with several teams.

Williams lives in Nashville, home of the Titans, and met with the team on Monday, but ultimately decided on Seattle. The Jets and Ravens were also in play, according to league sources. Williams started his career in Baltimore, and won a Super Bowl with the team.

The Eagles reportedly agreed to terms with Seahawks cornerback Byron Maxwell on Sunday, so the two cornerbacks are effectively switching teams.

Williams had two interceptions and 60 tackles as one of Philadelphia's most consistent defenders last season.
