Well you can’t say Panthers quarterback Cam Newton doesn’t enjoy a challenge.
The former NFL MVP is battling through an offseason that includes shoulder surgery, veganism and apparently no sex for the month of March.
On "The Late Late Show with James Corden," Newton said March was “no climax” month.
To explain himself in front of a stunned crowd, Newton said the decision is meant to force him to become stronger mentally.
“It makes my mind stronger,” he said. “So when the season comes around, I say if I did those things, I’m mentally stronger.”
It looks like Carolina will have a new man behind center in 2019 — one with a stronger shoulder, a stronger mind and some impressive willpower.
