Browns' Joe Thomas to play Sunday despite receding hairline image

The Browns, dealing with injuries on their offensive line and shuffling players around up front, will need All-Pro left tackle Joe Thomas against a quietly stingy Titans defense Sunday.

They'll have him, despite his receding hairline.

Thomas, who indeed was dealing with a sore knee and did not practice all week, used Twitter on Friday to list himself as questionable for the Tennessee game.

The cause? Not his knee.

No worries — the Browns announced Friday that Thomas will play against the favored Titans.

Even with Thomas, who has been named to the Pro Bowl in each of his nine NFL seasons (six-time All-Pro), neither SN's Vinnie Iyer nor David Steele think Cleveland has much of a chance against Tennessee.

To be fair, for a 31-year-old player who has had such an admirable career, a receding hairline at this point might be cause for more concern than a sore knee.
