Browns fan gets very unfortunate Super Bowl tattoo image

Getting a tattoo of your team winning the Super Bowl is dumb, especially when the team hasn't even won it yet.

But that's exactly what Browns fan Garrett Howenstine did this week. Ryan Koler posted an image of his friend's tattoo which reads "CLEVELAND BROWNS ... SUPERBOWL CHAMPS LIV" on his upper right thigh. Super Bowl LIV is Super Bowl 54, which takes place at the end of this season.

Aside from the fact the Browns haven't won the Super Bowl yet (or even played a game) there are a few things immediately bad about this tattoo.

The first is "SUPERBOWL" is spelled incorrectly (it should be two words: Super Bowl).

Look, typos happen. It's fine to misspell things every once in a while. Nobody's perfect. But if you're going to get something inked on you forever, then you need to spell it correctly. Tattoos shouldn't have typos. But maybe this guy will live his life with "No Ragrets."

And second, as many people have pointed out, he got a tattoo of the old logo.

Although, to be fair to him, there hasn't been much difference between the Browns' logo history. The helmets mostly look the same with the orange color changing. But the current logo has a darker facemask compared to the white facemask on the tattoo.

The moral of the story is: At least wait until your team actually wins something before getting a tattoo.
