The Jets were down 27-0 at halftime to the Patriots, and Brandon Marshall had apparently had enough.

The receiver admitted to ESPN going on a "boisterous" halftime rant in the locker room, which not everyone enjoyed. He said he was targeting the offense, but because he was in the middle of everyone, the defense chimed in as well. This is what led to "a raucous locker room" and "might have raised tensions," according unidentified sources cited by ESPN.

Although we don't know for sure, it's likely this is what led to Sheldon Richardson's public dispute with Marshall. Or it was at least the last straw, as these two had another incident in Week 3 after a loss to the Chiefs.

While it's easy for players to pin the blame on Marshall's halftime rant, this paints a larger issue in Todd Bowles' locker room. There's a clear divide among the players, but that's bound to happen when a team is playing this poorly. Reports from Wednesday night indicate Bowles will be safe from Black Monday, but the same can't be said for Richardson and Marshall this offseason.
