Brandon Marshall has every intention of returning to the Jets — even if that means taking a big pay cut. The Pro Bowl wide receiver even said he'll play for free to remain with Gang Green.
"I would love to be back," Marshall said, via the New York Daily News. "It’s not about the money anymore. It’s all about winning. I know what I’m worth. I think this team knows what I’m worth as far as the organization. But it’s not about the money. I’m good. I’m good with the money. I just want to win. That’s all I want to do. I'll play for free. My bills are paid."

Marshall has made over $73 million in his 11 NFL seasons, according to Spotrac.com. Coming off 788 receiving yards and three touchdowns, his worst statistical season since 2006, Marshall is set to make $7.5 million next season, although none of the money is guaranteed.
With the Jets (5-11) having bigger issues than his contract, Marshall wants the Jets to do whatever it takes to win games.
"I'm tired of going home right after the season. I'm tired of watching the playoffs on my couch," Marshall said. "I'm tired of it. And it's just a frustrating year. It's been a frustrating career from that aspect, and hopefully things change moving forward."
Marshall, who said he wants to keep playing until he's 38 or 39, admitted he was playing hurt since Week 2 when he suffered an MCL sprain and a foot injury.
But Marshall refused to use the injuries as an excuse for his down year, saying, "I'm extremely confident that I'm still an elite receiver."
