Bill Belichick secured his 227th career victory with a 33-13 beat-down of the Browns on Sunday, passing Curly Lambeau for sole possession of 4th on the all-time wins list for head coaches. Now sitting behind Don Shula (328), George Halas (318) and Tom Landy (250), Belichick has rewritten the record books since joining the Patriots in 2000. Time to take a moment and focus on some of the notable statistical achievments from the man in the hoodie:

- Belichick reaching this milestone against the Browns is fitting since 36 of his 227 head coaching wins came during a relatively obscure stint with Cleveland from 1991 to 1995.  Belichick went 36-44 during that span which has been followed by a 191-70 tenure with the Patriots, which began in 2000. Also amusing to note that Belichick owns the Brown's last playoff win, which we'll get to in a minute.

- Using his average of 11.7 wins per season with the Patriots, you can project Belichick to catch Landry for third place by the beginning of 2018, reach Halas by the end of 2023, and Shula by the end of 2024 at the age of 72.

- Despite being fourth in regular-season wins, Belichick is first on the list of postseason wins by a head coach with 23.

- Of course that's led to six Super Bowl appearances, which ties him with Don Shula for the most all time.

MORE:  Belichick's Moments of Greatness

- Belichick’s four Super Bowl rings are tied with Chuck Knoll for the most in NFL history

- Belichick’s only postseason win while not coaching New England actually came against the Patriots, when his 1994 Browns beat Bill Parcells’ team 20-13 in the Wild Card round. Cleveland has only been to the postseason once since then.

- Belichick’s average divisional finish of 1.7 (between first place and second) is best among 33 head coaches who have coached at least 200 career games

- Belichick and Tom Brady are the winningest Coach-Quarterback duo both in regular season and postseason history. They now have 173 win in the regular season and 22 in the postseason.

- Belichick had coached 610 total players heading into Sunday’s game. That includes 38 Pro Bowlers and 18 All-Pros.

- Belichick's teams have annihilated the AFC east with a 73-27 record. He's 28-6 versus the Bills in his career, 23-11 against the Dolphins and 21-14 facing the Jets.  Outside of that division he's beaten up the Bengals the most (14-4), followed by the Colts (13-7).  The only two AFC teams he doesn't have a winning record against are the Steelers (9-10) and the Broncos (7-10)

- This is more of an oddity than an achievement, but with 341 career games as head coach, Belichick has the most games as head coach without a single tie.

- Lastly, Belichick's greatness will continue to have an impact even after he's done compiling his own personal milestones, as seven of his former assistants have already gone on to be NFL head coaches:
