Ben Roethlisberger's message to uneasy Steelers fans: It's only 'halftime' image

Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger on Tuesday channeled his inner Aaron Rodgers.

Roethlisberger invoked the Packers quarterback during his weekly radio appearance.

"I could do the Aaron Rodgers ‘Relax,’ but I’m just going to say it’s halftime," Roethlisberger told 93.7 The Fan, via ESPN.com. "We’re at halftime, and we’ve had a lot of great second halves in my career and Pittsburgh Steelers' season history. ... It’s not over yet, and I’m excited for the second half of the season."

After the Packers began the 2014 season with two losses in their first three games, Rodgers said in a radio interview fans should relax, and he even spelled it out. The Packers went on to go 12-4 before losing in overtime at Seattle in the NFC championship game.

POWER RANKINGS: Steelers stuck in muddled middle

The Steelers are 4-4 following Sunday's 21-14 loss to the Ravens. With the 7-1 Cowboys coming to Heinz Field on Sunday, the Steelers are looking at a situation where they could be under .500 in Week 10 for the first time since 2013, when Pittsburgh finished 8-8 and missed the playoffs.

The Steelers are tied with the Ravens (4-4) atop the wide-open AFC North, but the Ravens play host to the winless Browns on Thursday. The Steelers get the Browns the following week.

“I think everybody needs to be accountable," Roethlisberger said Tuesday. "That’s from being where you need to be when you’re supposed to be there to doing your job and not trying to do everybody else’s job."
