Ben Roethlisberger to undergo surgery on torn meniscus, report says image

The injury bug bit Ben Roethlisberger again Sunday as the Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback was diagnosed with torn meniscus in his left knee in a loss to the Miami Dolphins.

According to the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, Roethlisberger will undergo surgery Monday and is without a timetable to return.

Roethlisberger was hit by Dolphins linebacker Donald Butler during a second-quarter interception and sat on the field holding his left knee. He gingerly walked to the locker room, but was able to return in the third quarter after undergoing X-rays in the locker room.
