Aussie NFL Wrap-up: Week 5

Adam Gotsis - Indianapolis Colts

In just his second game of the season after being elevated from the practice squad, Adam Gotsis lined up against his former team the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Unfortunately, he wasn't able to take revenge, as the Jaguars secured their first win of the season against Gotsis and his Colts in week 5.

Tory Taylor - Chicago Bears

The Bears were firing on all cylinders during their obliteration of the Panthers this week, putting up 36 points against the team that they share much history with.

Punting prodigy Tory Taylor had a decent day out against the team that traded away his draft pick, ending the game with four punts for a total of 178 yards, as Chicago cruised to victory.

Jordan Mailata - Philadelphia Eagles

Mailtata and the Eagles are on the bye in week 5.

Mitch Wishnowsky - San Francisco 49ers

It was a historic day for Mitch Wishnowsky in week 5, as the Aussie slotted his first ever NFL field-goal.

After 49ers kicker Jake Moody was hurt making a tackle earlier in the game, San Francisco punter Wishnowsky was given the call-up, and he laced one from 26 yards out to add to his illustrious resume.

However, his squad wasn't able to hold onto the win, as they were downed by the Cardinals by a single point.

Daniel Faalele - Baltimore Ravens

Daniel Faalele made some massive plays for the Ravens, in a game many consider to be a contender for game of the year.

Baltimore was able to claim a narrow victory in a high scoring affair, winning 41-38.

Michael Dickson - Seattle Seahawks

Four punts for Dickson in his week five outing, for a total of 193 yards including two down inside the 20.

Seattle weren't able to take home the win however, losing to the Giants by nine in an upset.

Matthew Hayball - New Orleans Saints

Not much went right for the Saints in their clash against the Chiefs; they lost 26-13, and starting quarterback Derek Carr left the game with injury, as Kansas City won their fifth-straight game to remain undefeated.

Matthew Hayball punted four times in the match, for a total of 199 yards, but the Saints look like they've lost their early season magic at the moment.
