Jermaine Gresham was in the right place at the right time for one college student who just wanted to board her flight.
Delilah Cassidy, who had just returned to the states from a trip to Europe, was in a stalemate with American Airlines over a bag the airlines wouldn’t let her take on the plane without a $50 fee. Cassidy had cash, but only a card was acceptable. However, Cassidy’s cards had not worked since her return to the states.
That’s when Gresham swooped in and offered to pay the $50.
Cassidy detailed Gresham’s random act of kindness on Twitter:

As if this wasn’t enough praise for Gresham, former teammate Earl Watford and current teammate D.J. Humphries jumped in to the conversation to speak kindly of him.

May we all be a little more like Gresham.
