It shouldn't come as a great surprise that Arian Foster is a hockey fan. After all, the Texans running back moves to the beat of his own drum.

With football still months away, Foster is taking in playoff hockey, specifically, the Rangers-Capitals series. It turns out Foster is a big Rangers fan, and did some live-tweeting during Game 7.

During the second period, Foster noticed how much smack talk the two teams did, and Foster had an idea.

Sadly, this is a mere pipe dream. There are many reason why this will never happen, but at its core football helmets don't really allow a great avenue for a fist to connect with one's face.

It's the height of comedy when a football player throws a punch because he is essentially throwing his bare fist at a metal guardrail.

But we appreciate Foster's love for playoff hockey.
