The Indianapolis Colts are taking on the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 4 of the NFL season. Colts quarterback Anthony Richardson has been scrutinized this season because of his high turnover numbers.
Fans got a look at backup quarterback Joe Flacco in Week 4, but it wasn't because of Richardson's continued poor play. The dual-threat quarterback was injured after a big hit but returned for a play. He got popped again, and this play caused him to head to the locker room.
The Sporting News will bring you the latest updates on Richardson as the Colts look to big up a big AFC win over the Steelers in Week 4.

Anthony Richardson injury updates
Richardson is questionable to return with a hip injury. The first big hit that Richardson took caused the hip injury. You can see the quarterback on the ground, motioning toward his hip and wincing in pain. He left the field but was quick to return.

Richardson came back onto the field, albeit while limping. Indianapolis went with an option, and the quarterback kept it. He made a late decision to give himself up, and Steelers defender Minkah Fitzpatrick tried to stop his hit but still made contact directly with Richardson's helmet. The quarterback looks a little stunned, and he then gets up and leaves the field. Flacco takes back over as Richardson bypasses the blue medical tent and heads to the locker room.
I can’t believe the Colts coaches did this.

NFL Network's Cam Wolfe reports that early indications are that Richardson is dealing with a hip pointer. The Colts do have a 17-point lead late in the second quarter, and they may be extra cautious with the quarterback, given his injury history.
After the game, Richardson said that he wanted to go back into the game, but found that he couldn't push off and accelerate like normal.
Colts QB Anthony Richardson said his hip is “still sore,” but later told me he will be good.

Richardson said he told HC Shane Steichen he could return after initial hip injury but “tried to accelerate and couldn’t push off like I wanted to.” pic.twitter.com/hbwgNEZXjH
Wolfe also reports that the Colts' initial hope is that Richardson won't be forced to miss any game time as a result of his hip pointer.
The hope is that Colts QB Anthony Richardson misses very little or no game action with his right hip pointer, per source.
