Former Giants coach Tom Coughlin infamously turned bright red when his team had to play in frigid Lambeau Field in the playoffs 16 years ago. He's just lucky he didn't have any facial hair to deal with as well.
Chiefs coach Andy Reid braved the freezing temperatures well, by all accounts, early in Saturday night's playoff game (local time) against the Dolphins.
His moustache didn't fare quite as well.
Peacock cameras caught a great glimpse of Reid's moustache covered in ice during the first half, an image that might end up as the most iconic out of a historically cold game.

The Chiefs reported a kickoff temperature of -4 degrees Fahrenheit, making it the fourth-coldest NFL game on record. The league went forward with the game as scheduled, and Reid has certainly coached in some similarly freezing games in the past between Philadelphia and Kansas City.
Reid appeared to be doing well otherwise. But with wind chills well below freezing, the icicles forming just above his mouth were noticeable.

Reid has sported a moustache for as long as he's been an NFL head coach. He walked into his introductory press conference with a moustache when the Eagles hired him in 1999, and the 'stache has lasted through two championship runs in Kansas City. It will survive sub-zero temperatures as well, even if it looks like a glacier by the final whistle.
Reid's only hope is that his Chiefs survive and advance, regardless of the conditions. Kansas City opened up a small lead in the first half, flashing its experience playing in the cold against the warm-weather Dolphins.
