The Cowboys headlined the Professional Football Writers of America All-NFL team, placing a league-high four players on the honor roll.

Wide receiver Dez Bryant, center Travis Frederick, running back DeMarco Murray and tackle Tyron Smith paced Dallas, while the Patriots were second with three All-NFL selections

Three players were repeats from PFWA’s 2013 All-NFL team: Browns tackle Joe Thomas, Lions defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh and Panthers middle linebacker Luke Kuechly.

Texans defensive end J.J. Watt and two defensive players from the Seahawks, cornerback Richard Sherman and safety Earl Thomas were selected to PFWA’s All-NFL team for the third consecutive season, the longest current streak among active players.

Nine players are among teams still remaining in the NFL playoffs . Aaron Rodgers and the Packers travel to Seattle on Sunday to face Sherman, Thomas, and a stiff Seahawks defense, while Rob Gronkowski and the Patriots host Indianapolis in Tom Brady's ninth AFC Championship Game.
