49ers linebacker Ahmad Brooks has been accused of sexual assault by the same woman who brought similar allegations against former San Francisco defensive end Ray McDonald, according to a report.

The woman claims Brooks assaulted her while she was passed out at a then-teammate's house, TMZ Sports reported. The former teammate is McDonald, who signed with the Bears in March following his release from the Niners. McDonald brought a defamation suit against the woman.

McDonald was cleared to play by the NFL in August after an investigation found he did not violate the league's personal conduct policy. The NFL is still investigating another incident, which took place in December, involving McDonald and Brooks.

The woman is claiming she has video evidence of the December incident.

The woman alleges that after she slipped and fell on the deck near McDonald's swimming pool, Brooks "groped her in a sexual manner" before McDonald carried her up to his bedroom and had sex with her. The San Jose Police Department did not charge either man due to insufficient evidence.

The woman is countering McDonald's lawsuit with one of her own, alleging assault and battery, false imprisonment and infliction of emotional distress.

49ers general manager Trent Baalke said in a statement that the team was aware of the report. "We were disappointed to learn of this matter and will continue to monitor the situation,” Baalke added.

Brooks, a third-round pick by the Bengals in the 2006 NFL Draft, has been with the 49ers since 2008 and was a Pro Bowl selection in 2013.
