Adrian Peterson is reportedly in Minnesota and will report to Tuesday's organized team activities with the Vikings, according to ESPN's Josina Anderson.

Peterson has been unhappy with the Vikings, for whom he has played since Minnesota selected him with the seventh overall pick in the 2007 NFL Draft. He was placed on the NFL's exempt list last year after being charged with child abuse and missed 15 games. Peterson had reportedly threatened to retire if the Vikings wouldn't trade him, but with three years remaining on his contract, Peterson apparently is not willing to forfeit a $250,000 bonus for skipping OTAs.

The Vikings have been steadfast in their stance they would not trade him. Coach Mike Zimmer said last week that the six-time Pro Bowl running back had two choices: play for the Vikings or nobody.

Peterson is due $12.75 million in 2015, but none of that money is guaranteed, which is what prompted a Twitter rant by Peterson last week. Had he skipped OTAs and minicamp, he would have not only forfeited his bonus, but also the Vikings could have fined him up to $72,920.

"The conversation between Mike Zimmer and I went well," Peterson told ESPN. "He was able to express what place (his comments) came from and I was able to listen. I was also able to express how I received that and we came to common ground about it. That was the end of it. I told him to tell the family I said hello and I'll see you next week."
