The drama between Adrian Peterson and the Vikings appears to intensify each day.

Thursday's evidence came when the Minnesota running back let off some steam on Twitter. He seems less than thrilled about his contract situation ... or NFL contracts in general. We're not totally sure.

The dispute is over the three years, $44.25 million left on Peterson's contract, which, like all NFL contracts, is not fully guaranteed. NFL.com's Ian Rapoport says the running back wants guranteed money in 2016, when the Vikings could (and arguably should) restructure the deal.

Peterson's rant comes a day after coach Mike Zimmer said "[Peterson] can either play for us or he cannot play." Peterson responded, saying he doesn't want a trade.

"The reason I'm not attending OTAs has nothing to do with wanting to be traded," he expressed in a statement. "It's about securing my future with the Vikings. It's business, not personal and I understand that firsthand. Go Vikings."

Peterson, who's been a no-show in Minnesota for the entire offseason, was reinstated by the NFL in April. He had been suspended for violating the NFL's personal conduct policy after pleading no contest to reckless assault of a child.
