ESPN added Rodgers' first-year payout will be massive — he will earn more than $80 million by March. His reported $57.5 million signing bonus is the largest in NFL history.
Aaron Rodgers new deal with the Packers will be worth $176 million to $180 million total, per source. Big feature is cash flow: $67m before end of calendar, over $80m before St. Patrick’s Day next year, $103m practically guaranteed, per source.

He took to Instagram to celebrate his 14th season with the organization, saying in part: "It’s been an amazing ride the last 13 years; excited to start year 14 knowing that my future is here, in Green Bay, for our 100th season."
Rodgers' deal surpasses quarterback Matt Ryan's contract extension from this past offseason. Ryan is scheduled to make $150 million over five years with the Falcons.
Rodgers, 34, will likely remain in Green Bay (barring an unforseen trade) until the end of his career with the new deal. He had two years remaining on his current contract, which he signed in 2013 and was worth $110 million through 2018.
At the time of his old contract, which was worth $22 million per year, Rodgers was the highest paid quarterback. He slipped to 10th place by this past summer with other quarterbacks getting more recent — and lucrative — deals. Now he's back on top.
