Netball World Cup 2023: Who are Australia playing at the World Cup? image

The Australian Diamonds began their quest for a 12th Netball World Cup last week, as they compete in South Africa with revenge on their mind.

Australia fell to New Zealand in the final of the 2019 edition, ending their three-straight championships — a feat that the Diamonds will not have forgotten.

Who will Australia play next at the 2023 Netball World Cup?

The 2023 Netball World Cup was split into two separate group stages before an extensive finals stage.

Australia has already faced off against Zimbabwe, Tonga, and Fiji in the first preliminary stage, winning all three matches.

The Diamonds were then placed into Group F — with England, Malawi, Tonga, Scotland and Fiji — for the second preliminary stage.

They secured victory in their first four group games before falling to England.

This leaves them second in their group, meaning they faced an undefeated Jamaica team in the semi-finals, winning a thriller 57-54.
