East Carolina coach delivers perfect Mother's Day present with walk-on scholarship image

East Carolina coach Scottie Montgomery delivered the perfect Mother’s Day present a few days early.

FootballScoop.com reports Montgomery delivered the perfect #ScholarshipAlert to Tia Chapman, the mother of defensive end Kiante Anderson, a Greenville, N.C., native. Chapman then delivered the news to Anderson on the phone.

The end result is perfect ...

Anderson joined the program as a walk-on transfer in 2015. Props to Montgomery for the well-time Mother’s Day present. ­
