Michigan coach Jim Harbaugh remained noncommittal about quarterback Wilton Speight’s status for Saturday’s game against Indiana.
On Monday, multiple reports said Speight suffered a broken collarbone in the loss to Iowa on Nov. 12 and would miss the remainder of the regular season. Harbaugh refuted those reports but did not divulge much information on the Big Ten Teleconference on Tuesday.

“He remains questionable for Saturday, and we’ll re-evaluate after that,” Harbaugh said.
If Speight cannot start, then Michigan will turn to John O’Korn, a Houston transfer, against the Hoosiers in the home finale. Michigan (9-1, 6-1) remains alive in the College Football Playoff hunt. Speight has 2,156 yards, 15 TDs and four interceptions this season as Michigan’s starter.
Harbaugh was asked about the reports that said Speight would be out for the season.
“Well I never really get into the talk,” Harbaugh said. “Not a doctor. Hate to be the third person talking about these things.”
