Ohio State redshirt freshman Torrance Gibson has suspended from the school for the fall semester, the school announced Monday.
Gibson was suspended for a violation of the university’s code of conduct, according to the release. No other details were made known.

Urban Meyer commented on the situation Monday.

Gibson, a former four-star quarterback recruit, had made the move to receiver last season and appeared in the mix for playing time this season. He scored a pair of TDs in the spring game.
Ohio State opens its season Saturday against Bowling Green.
