Alabama’s defense struck again at the right time against Washington in the Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl to take a 17-7 lead.
Ryan Anderson returned an interception 26 yards for a touchdown with 1:13 left in the half to give the Crimson Tide a 10-point lead before halftime. Anderson’s score was Alabama’s 11th defensive touchdown of the season.

Anderson’s interception came on a second-and-10 when Reuben Foster applied pressure on Browning, who threw to Anderson. The rest, is, well a double-digit lead for Alabama.
