OK, this has got to stop.

For the second straight week, a player was ejected for targeting on Penn State kicker Joey Julius.

Maryland’s Isaiah Davis hit Julius with a cheap shot on a kickoff that went out of bounds. It’s the second consecutive week a player has targeted Julius, a 5-foot-10, 271-pound sophomore.

Benches cleared last week when Minnesota’s Jaylen Waters targeted Julius on a kickoff.

At this point, the Big Ten needs to step up the discipline and levy a real suspension so that his trend doesn’t continue. Both incidents are flagrant cheap shots on Julius, and there’s no need for that.
