Ohio State's Nick Bosa ejected for targeting against Iowa image

Ohio State's Nick Bosa was ejected for targeting with 3:12 remaining in the first half against Iowa on Saturday.

On a third-and-8 from the 40-yard line, Bosa hit Iowa quarterback Nathan Stanley with the crown of his helmet. Bosa jumped over an offensive lineman before hitting Stanley. Bosa, a Sporting News midseason All-American, is one of the Buckeyes' best defenders.

Bosa was called for roughing the passer and targeting on the play.

Iowa scored a touchdown on the next play on a 25-yard touchdown pass from Stanley to Noah Fant for a 24-17 lead with 3:06 remaining in the half. The Hawkeyes followed up with another touchdown with :31 seconds remaining in the half to take a a 31-17 halftime lead.
