It’s only spring, but Nebraska's fans are already in fall form.
Nearly 77,000 Huskers fans attended Saturday’s spring game in Lincoln, according to the team's Twitter account.

That mark is the highest reported attendance reported in spring football so far this year, eclipsing the reported 60,000 figure at Michigan two weeks ago. Nebraska has a good chance to finish with 2015's biggest spring game crowd, but they will have some elite company chasing them in the next couple of weeks.
The biggest threats will come from defending national champion Ohio State, which drew 61,058 fans last year and could have a post-title bump this spring. Penn State had 72,000 at its game last spring, and last year’s spring champion was Alabama with 73,506 fans.
