Ohio State wideout Dontre Wilson wasn't about to miss Senior Day, especially against rival Michigan in one of the biggest games of the college football season.
The hybrid playmaker is expected back on the field Saturday (noon ET on ABC) in Columbus after suffering an unspecified injury against Maryland in which he caught three passes for 47 yards and a touchdown.
"Dontre is cleared to play," Ohio State coach Urban Meyer said Tuesday.
Wilson, along with senior receiver Corey Smith, both missed the Buckeyes' close win over Michigan State last Saturday. Smith, who is rehabbing after having a pin removed from his right wrist, is also expected to see the field.

“It remains to be seen, but I think he’s going to be OK (to play),” Meyer told reporters of Smith.
Wilson has 26 catches for 343 yards and five touchdowns this season but will have his work cut out for him against Jabrill Peppers and the No. 1 ranked team in total defense.
