It’s been a loaded week of headlines for Michigan football, not limited to four secondary NCAA violations, the arrest of an associate athletic director, the suspension of one player and the transfer of another.
So where’s coach Jim Harbaugh in the middle of all this?
He’s on his annual pilgrimage to Peru, of course. He’s every bit as entertaining in South America, too.

Harbaugh made this not-so subtle joke about Deflategate and the four-game suspension of Tom Brady, who you might remember played at Michigan.

Harbaugh did lead the 49ers to a 41-34 win against the Patriots in 2012, and his brother John has a long-standing rivalry with New England. Maybe it's a swipe there. Harbaugh also shared some other photos from his journey to the Santisimo Sacramento Catholic parish in Piura, Peru.

According to the Detroit Free Press, Harbaugh overtook Ohio State coach Urban Meyer as the most-followed coach on Twitter this week. So far, the first-year coach hasn’t disappointed on social media. It’s pretty clear he’s not worried about what other people think.
Michigan opens its season Sept. 3 at Utah.
