Florida State beats Boston College 20-17 on last-second field goal image

The streak continues. 

No. 1 Florida State, the defending national champions, beat Boston College 20-17 on Saturday. 

That continued the nation’s longest-win streak at 27 games. Roberto Aguayo nailed a 26-yard field goal with seven seconds remaining for the win. The Seminoles improved to 11-0.

Florida State led 17-10 at half after a 30-yard touchdown pass from Jameis Winston to Nick O’Leary. Boston College tied the score in the third quarter on a 21-yard touchdown run by Tyler Murphy. 

Boston College swallowed the fourth quarter with a 17-play drive that took 8:52 off the clock, but the drive ended with a missed field goal. The Seminoles than marched for the game-winning score.
